The most recent version of the Android operating system is Android 10, released in late 2019, although it has not yet been released on all smartphones. The operating system was originally called Android Q until Google finally decided to abandon the names of the desserts.

Android 10 release date

Some smartphones already have Android 10 preloaded like OnePlus 8, Samsung Galaxy S20, and many others, but not all of them do, especially those of small brands.
If your smartphone is not too old for Android 10 but does not already have it, you can expect it to arrive soon.

Dark Theme, the system-wide dark mode

Android Q does not have Android Beam

A report from the International Computer Science Institute found that over 1,300 apps in the U.S. Google Play Store regularly delete users’ personal data, even if explicitly denied by its authorization settings.
